Malarstwonowoczesne Agnieszka Banasiak

Agnieszka Banasiak T swoją przygodę na studiach artystycznych rozpoczęła w 2010 roku na Uniwersytecie Mikołaja Kopernika w Toruniu (Wydział Sztuk Pięknych – kierunek Edukacja Artystyczna w zakresie sztuk plastycznych). W 2013 r. obroniła tytuł licencjata. W tym są mym roku zmieniła swoją specjalizację na Media Rysunkowe i uzyskała z tej dziedziny tytuł Magistra Sztuki w 2015 roku. Dyplom teoretyczny i praktyczny obroniła pod kierunkiem prof. Wiesławy Limont oraz dr hab. E. Jabłońskiej. Obie prace zostały wyróżnione i uzyskały pierwszą nominację do medalu J. Boguckiego. Jest członkiem Związku Polskich Artystów Plastyków Okręgu Toruńskiego. Artystka maluje farbami  akrylowymi na podobraziach płóciennych oraz nierdzewnej blasze.

  Artystka maluje w dwóch różnych cyklach. W serii ,,Malarstwo wędrujące” artystka eksploruje temat podróży i odkryć, przyjmując formę, która jest zarówno ekspresyjna, jak i pełna kolorów, charakterystycznych dla stylu pop-art, które są wymieszane ze sztuką dawną holenderskich mistrzów, co tworzy ciekawy kontrast między przeszłością, a współczesnością.

Z kolei seria „Historią mówione” koncentruje się na narracji i pamięci, często odwołując się do starych fotografii. W tej serii artystka może reinterpretować obrazy z przeszłości, nadając im nowe znaczenia, a także zestawiając je z elementami pop-artu. To połączenie pozwala na refleksję nad tym, jak historia i doświadczenia pokoleń wpływają na współczesne społeczeństwo.

Agnieszka Banasiak T czerpie inspirację do swojej twórczości z wielu różnych źródeł, które kształtują jej unikalny styl. W szczególności inspiruje ją malarstwo Fransa Hals , Edward Hooper, Olgi Boznańskiej, Anny Bilińskiej, Andyego Warhola, Paul Rego, Chantalla Joffe oraz filmy  wizualne Fellini i Petera Greenaway .
Prace artystki są nie tylko malarską interpretacją rzeczywistości, ale także refleksją nad współczesnym światem. Zestawienie klasycznych motywów z nowoczesnymi atrybutami tworzy interesujący dialog między przeszłością a teraźniejszością.

Obrazy artystki znajdują się w wielu kolekcjach prywatnych w Polsce oraz poza granicami kraju między innymi w Anglii, Niemczech i we Włoszech, Irlandii, Hiszpanii, Czechach, Francji. Artystka współpracuje z wieloma instytucjami m.in. z Uniwersytetem Trzeciego Wieku w Toruniu

Agnieszka Banasiak began her art studies in 2010 at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń (Faculty of Fine Arts – major: Artistic Education in Visual Arts). In 2013, she defended her bachelor’s degree. That same year, she changed her specialization to Drawing Media and earned a Master of Arts in this field in 2015. She defended her theoretical and practical diplomas under the supervision of Professor Wiesława Limont and Dr. E. Jabłońska. Both works received distinctions and received the first nomination for the J. Bogucki Medal. She is a member of the Toruń Branch of the Association of Polish Visual Artists. The artist paints with acrylic paints on canvas and stainless steel.

The artist paints in two distinct series. In the series „Wandering Painting,” the artist explores themes of journeys and discoveries, adopting a form that is both expressive and full of color, characteristic of the pop art style, which is blended with the early art of the Dutch masters, creating an interesting contrast between the past and the present.

The series „Oral History,” in turn, focuses on narrative and memory, often referencing old photographs. In this series, the artist reinterprets images from the past, imbuing them with new meanings and juxtaposing them with elements of pop art. This combination allows for reflection on how history and the experiences of generations influence contemporary society.

Agnieszka Banasiak T. draws inspiration for her work from many different sources, which shape her unique style. In particular, she is inspired by the paintings of Frans Hals, Edward Hooper, Olga Boznańska, Anna Bilińska, Andy Warhol, Paul Rego, Chantalla Joffe, and the visual films of Fellini and Peter Greenaway.
The artist’s works are not only a painterly interpretation of reality but also a reflection on the contemporary world. The juxtaposition of classical motifs with modern attributes creates an interesting dialogue between the past and the present.
The painter effectively combines diverse styles in her works, making her work not only aesthetically appealing but also deeply reflective. Viewers can find in them both the joy of color and form, as well as deeper messages related to memory, history, and culture.

The painter participates in numerous auctions, including charity auctions, and collaborates with exceptional and distinguished galleries in Poland and internationally, including Gallery Store, Singular, Saatchi Art, and Art in House.

The artist’s paintings are in numerous private collections in Poland and abroad, including England, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Spain, the Czech Republic, and France. The artist collaborates with numerous institutions, including the University of the Third Age in Toruń.
